The Ministry of Interior (وزارة الداخلية اليمنية) was established in
1990 after the reunification, and has its actual structure from
Presidential Decree No. 50 of February 21, 2013. This Decree reorganized
the the General Security (or Public Security Sector, الأمن_العام) to which the
Police (شرطة_يمنية) belongs to. It has under its
jurisdiction the following:
- SSF (Special Security Forces) (قوات الأمن الخاصة (الأمن المركزي سابقاً)
- Coast Guard (خفر السواحل) established in 2003
- General Directorate of Transit Police (شرطة السير (اليمن) (المرور
سابقاً) (called Traffic Police earlier)
- Police patrols and safety roads (Rescue Police) (شرطة الدوريات وأمن
الطرق - النجدة) (called Border Guard earlier)
- Yemeni Civil Defence (الدفاع المدني اليمني)
- Police custodians and personalities protection (Bodyguard Police)
(شرطة حراسة المنشآت وحماية الشخصيات)

The flag on the left is probably one of the police forces that come under the
Interior Ministry.
The blue camouflage uniforms are Yemen police.
