The University itself does not have a flag for itself. It relies on the state flag to serve as the official university flag (sometimes this fact is used to describe the U of A as the "flagship university" for Arkansas.) This was decided by the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees on November 8th, 1940, with decision number 100.6. The Board Policy states the following: "STATE FLAG
OFFICIAL UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS FLAG - The State Flag of Arkansas shall be the official flag of the University of Arkansas."

A historical note about the seal from the U of A Marketing Guidelines:
The Seal - The official seal of the University of Arkansas was designed by Zelma Rothrock in 1923 and adopted by the Board of Trustees that same year. While no record can be found providing a translation of what Mrs. Rothrock meant by "Veritate Duce Progredi," David Fredrick, associate professor of classical studies, has provided this translation: "To Advance with Truth as (Our) Guide." The central design element of the seal is the east entrance to Old Main. Although the seal has represented the Fayetteville campus since 1923, it is also used by the Board of Trustees and the president of the University of Arkansas System.Zachary Harden, 6 November 2017

These flags only scratch the surface. With it being the flagship university
of Arkansas, and being in the SEC (sporting conference), the Razorback will
feature on different flags that are made locally, nationally or internationally.
The big one I have seen in my travels around the state and on Facebook is a
cardinal flag with the Razorback in white and outlined in black. Plus different
administrations within the U of A have instituted different logos, including the
forward facing hog (not a favorite but is used on the badge of the women's
soccer team) and different scripts for how to write Razorbacks.
