From Council Meeting, 14 January 2014:
"A number of years ago a handmade
flag with the City's logo was made and flown below the US flag at City Hall. The
flag has deteriorated and can no longer be used. Council formally adopted the
apple logo as the official City logo last year. We would like to have one flag
for display in Council Chambers, which requires the purchase of a flagpole and
base set, and also have flags on the flagpoles outside of City Hall, Public
Works, the Police Station, Fire Station #I, and the Civic Center."
