The flag for the city of Keene, New Hampshire. The flag consists of the city
seal, in color, centered on a green bedsheet. A precise description of the flag
can be found within the city's code of ordinances. Pantone #3415 U corresponds
to #308167 in Hex code, and Pantone 871 C corresponds with #8475e in Hex code.
The seal's gold color on the flag is darker than it is alone.
Sec. 2.2. -
City flag.
The city flag shall be green (Pantone #3415 U) in color, and
fringed in gold (Pantone 871 C) with the city seal as defined in section 2-1.2,
centered and encompassing 60 percent of the width of the flag on both sides
thereof. The city flag shall be of standard sizes when displayed outdoors and
shall be five feet (1500 mm) long by three feet (900 mm) wide when used indoors
and one shall be displayed in the city council chamber.

Sec. 2.1. - City seal.
The official city seal shall be as follows: a
circle 1⅝ inches in diameter; around the border in capital letters are the words
"City of Keene" in the upper portion, and the words "New Hampshire" in the lower
portion; on the disk is a figure of Justice seated, with her right arm resting
on a classic shaped shield having represented upon it an arm in the act of
striking with a hammer; on her right is an inverted horn with coins issuing
therefrom; on her left is a toothed wheel and a sheaf of wheat; a railroad train
is in the background; the figure "1874" is underneath within the border.
