Description of the Flag

Goodland is an unincorporated community and census designated place located in Collier County.

The flag was adopted by the Goodland Civic Association board of directors in November 25, 2015. It was designed by graphics designer resident Sherri Morrison after a request by GCA President Greg Nello.

The flag depicts a digitalization of the community welcome sign seen when passing by San Marco road. The sign shows a Mangrove forest on the left side, with a depiction of a fishing community next to them. The sign is supported by two bass, and behind is a green banner. Above is the community flag, and underneath is a golden sign bearing the establishment year.
