On Facebook, the flag of Teller County can be seen. It is white with the county seal centered upon it. In the inner portion of the seal, the motto "PROTECT THE PAST EMBRACE THE FUTURE" is read. Mountains, trees, a lake sunshine, a mining-related device (?) are depicted. In the yellow ring, the county name is separated by its date of formation (1899) and two golden stars. Below this, three stars in red, white, and blue (national colors) are on either side; at the bottom of the ring is the state's name.
