"It was confirmed in November, 3d, 2009 by the decision of
XXV city council session of V convocation. Vert; bend sinister
argent. Sabre edge up and outside or and Scythian quiver or with
five arrows, four argent and middle or in pale; quiver charged by
gules eight-beam star. Swan with six baby swans, all with beaks
and paws gules. The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned
by argent urban crown with three prongs.
Cossack sabre is a symbol of the historical past. Quiver was
found on a place of old Scythian settlement. Arrows are sign of
four villages and a city, parts of a territorial community. The
star means known Illintsi meteorite. Goose with baby birds are
the ancient arms of settlement."
