Mural crown with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE TAROUCA E DALVARES".
Meaning:
Elderflower and dove are representing Dálvares, the keys Tarouca, the tower both.

Tarouca e Dálvares is one of the three communes of Tarouca Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 4333 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 21,92 km².

Mural crown with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "FREGUESIA DE TAROUCA".
Meaning:
The crossed keys are an attribute of St. Peter, the local patron saint.
