Shield Azure with base wavy of Argent and Azure, five candles Or flamed Gules in quincunx. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "PAÇOS DE BRANDÃO".
Meaning:
The name of the commune means "palace of candle". A "brandão" is a big candle, made of wax. The candles are thus canting.
