Shield Argent, a saint proper dressed like a pilgrim on the Way of St. James, accompanied in dexter base by a dog sejant proper, blue bordure alternately charged with three shoemaker's hammers Or and three bezants, each one charged with a flame Gules. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and grey scroll with inscription in black capitals "VILA DE S. ROQUE".
Meaning:
The saint is St. Roch, patron saint and name giver of the commune, accompanied by his attribute, the dog. (details of his biography see: in this hagiography)
