Coat of Arms

Shield Or a log raguly Vert in fess, flanked in chief by an escallop Purpure and in base by a hoe blade Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers(village rank) and white scroll of short toponym style reading in black upper case serifed letters "TRONCO".
Meaning:
The word "tronco" means "trunk", both as in "log" and as in "bole", and this word is sometimes also used to name a major tree branch, too, especially after felling. The arms are therefore partly canting. The escallop is an attribute of St. James the Elder, the local patron saints.
