It is an untypical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a field gyronny of eight of green and pink.

Shield Argent, on fess point a lyre Or stringed Gules, flanked by a cornucopia Or filled with grapes Purpure at dexter and a grape bunch Purpure leafed Or at sinister, on middle chief point a patriarchal cross Or and a crozier of the same in saltire, both under a mitre Argent adorned Or, issuant from base a throughout bridge Argent masoned Sable with one arch. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with black inscription in maiuscules "FREGUESIA DE ERVEDEDO".

Neither flag nor CoA have been approved officially The Coat of Arms doesn´ t match heraldic tincture rules. Gyronny flags are approved only for cities with mural crown having five visible towers.

Presentation of Ervededo

was one of the 30 communes of Chaves Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes ; it had 595 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 20,21 km².
