Shield Or an eradicated grape vine Vert fruited by two grape bunches Argent flanked by two broken columns Gules and in base two bread paddles Azure in saltire. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "FAVAIOS"
Meaning:
Favaios is widely known in Portugal by metonymy and commercial branding of a local muscat wine of the same name; the grape vine on the coat of arms is therefore canting.
