Presently, services and industry are a backbone of the local economy. It has a good volleyball team - UKS Lider Praszka.
Arms adopted on February 17, 2003 (resolution # 37/V/2003).
Flag adopted in August 2007 and submitted for approval to the Heraldic
Commission and Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration. No word
on its fate, but it looks like it should be approved with no problems.
"Arms: on the white shield two re towers wit blue roofs and between them a bridge on which a black goat is walking to the right.
Flag: a rectangle composed of three vertical bands: red-white-blue of
which the white one is the widest and bears the Arms ."
