Gmina Dąbrowa Chełmińska is a rural gmina (commune) in Bydgoszcz County,
Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodship, in north-central Poland. Its seat is the
village of Dąbrowa Chełmińska, which lies approximately 22 kilometres (14
mi) east of Bydgoszcz and 27 km (17 mi) north-west of Toruń.
Area: 124.62 sq.km (48.1 sq.mi); Population: 7,179 (2006).
Agricultural commune; land under cultivation - 40%; forests - 47%
Arms and flag adopted on June 14, 2006 (resolution # XXX/232/06).
"Arms:on a green, Spanish-style heraldic shield a branch of an oak
tree in gold color.
Flag: white, rectangular piece of cloth on which, in the middle, the
Arms are placed.
Ratio of the flag is 5:8."
