Blazon: I blått tre sølv angler i skrå rekke. In Englsih: Azure three
fishhooks argent in bend.
Approved by the royal resolution of 13 March 1987 after a drawing by Einar H.
Skjervold, teacher from Trondheim.
This wikipedia page
said that the competition was held in 1986 and the winning proposal was
"Beinkroker" (bone hooks) by S. Hogstad from Kolsås. Skjervold thus obviously
made the final drawing.
