Firedelt av blått og sølv med virvelsnitt. In English: Quartered embowed azure and argent.
Approved by the royal resolution 24 October 1986 after a drawing by Inge Rotevatn. [c2j87]
The deisgn depicts water power - both the coastal waves and the hydroelectric plants. [c2j87] shows an example of embowed gyronny of six in a 1390s seal of one Bjarne Ogmundsson.
