Located Nakano City Tokyo and established in 1966. The embroidered ceremonial flag has navy blue background with a gold emblem in gold fringe. The university flag has purplish blue background with a white emblem. (Source) The university emblem symbolizes the sunflower. The "sunflower" has a deep connection with light, and represents the meaning of always seeking the light and moving forward, and the image of a sunflower blooming on the soil of "justice, love, and courage," facing the shining sun in majestic splendor. The university is located in the center of this beautiful and noble "sunflower.
