Located in Abiko City Chiba Prefecture and established in 1988. The university flag has red background with a white emblem in the center. The university's "three cranes" emblem represents the university and its spirit. The three balls around the cranes' feet represent the kanji letter 川 of the first letter of Kawamura Gakuen. The crane represents "dignity and nobility," "peace and love," "affluence," and "eternal improvement," and the number "three" is a fundamental number in all ages. The cranes in the center of the three cranes represent the "students," and the cranes supporting and guiding them from the left and right represent the "parents," and the "school," faculty and staff.
