The communication mark flag has white background with a blue and red communication mark without university name.
This communication mark is based on the initials "A" and "S" of Aichi Shukutoku University. The straight "A" design represents "growth" and "toughness" that will continue to grow into the future, while the soft "S" symbolizes "flexibility" and "gentleness" that accepts diverse values. These two contrasting characters are beautifully combined as a mark and expressed in a prestigious manner. The basic color, blue, represents academic intelligence and reason, as well as the openness of the international campus. The accent color "red," on the other hand, conveys a strong, active, yet warm school culture.
The "communication mark" is a symbol of the university's desire to create a place where people of various genders, nationalities, generations, and disabilities can meet and "live together with their differences". The communication mark symbolizes the university's philosophy and aspirations, and conveys an unchanging beauty that will not fade with time.
