Yacht club; The club flag has purplish blue background with a dark red and white university emblem and horizontally written kanji university and club name in white.
The university emblem was adopted in October 1949 through public solicitation within the university.
The emblem consists of the initials "C" and "D" of "Chiba Daigaku" and the kanji "千" of " 千葉Chiba". The outline is in the shape of a plant seed, symbolizing infinite life force. The dark red color on the left side represents passion, and the white color on the right side represents purity, both designed by the late Hiroshi Akaana, former professor emeritus of Chiba University. It has long been used as the symbol mark of Chiba University, and with the birth of the communication mark, this venerable mark, which reflects history and tradition, was adopted as the emblem of Chiba University in March 2013.
