Description of the flag

The National Cartographic Center is the main organization for cartography in Iran, it is administered and funded by the Government of Iran as part of the Plan and Budget Organization, PBO and was established on May 27, 1953, although it traces its origins to the “Engineering Agency” which was part of the Planning Organization (itself a predecessor of the PBO) established during the first seven-year development program (1948-1955).
