While watching BBC World News this morning, they ran a story about displaced
persons within Iraq due to the fight against ISIS. The report included an
interview with a high-ranking official from Iraq's Ministry of Migration and
Displaced (MoMD), the ministry that's overseeing the Iraqi Government's efforts
to deal with the displaced persons. Behind the official were the Iraqi national
flag and the MoMD's flag.
Based on the BBC broadcast, the flag of Iraq's Ministry of Migration and
Displaced features the Ministry's seal centered on a white field. Beneath the
seal, in small sans serif letters was the URL www.iom-iraq.net. The version of
the seal that I used was found on the Ministry's Facebook page, and I know there
appears to be a defect in the path of the English wording around the top of the
seal. I don't know if that's intentional or accidental, but it's what I had to
work with.
