The Nineveh Governorate flag is white with the governorate emblem over it. It depicts a specific variant where the text is above the olive branches (and in black); the tower is also more stylized and not a photograph. Unfortunately, no image of the emblem can be located, so for now this flag remains undrawn.

The logo of Nineveh Governorate depicts two olive branches surrounding an Al Nouri mosque tower, specifically the leaning minaret which gave the city of Mosul, which it is a part of, a nickname, "the hunchback". Under the olive branches is its name in Arabic.

The flag of the Provincial Council depicts the governorate emblem (Al Nouri
mosque tower surrounded by branches) and contains it in a circular emblem, which
reads its motto "Affairs are decided amongst them" above between its border; and
at the bottom Nineveh Council Presidency in a red ribbon inside, with a bigger
red ribbon in the border reading the same in Arabic.
