The symbols of Stubičke Toplice are prescribed in Statutory Decision Odluka (o izmjenama i dopunama Statuta Općine Stubičke Toplice), adopted on 6 June 1995 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 25 May 1995 (?) in the County official gazette Službeni glasnik Županije Krapinsko-zagorske, No. 6.
The symbols are described in the Municipality Statutes Statut Općine Stubičke Toplice, adopted on 22 October 2001 and published on 10 April 2002 in Službeni glasnik Krapinsko-zagorske županije, No. 6, in the Municipality Statutes, Statut Općine Stubičke Toplice, adopted on 31 January 2006 and published on 1 February 2006 in Službeni glasnik Krapinsko-zagorske županije, No. 2, and in the current Municipality Statutes Statut Općine Stubičke Toplice, adopted on 16 July 2009 and published on 22 July 2009 in Službeni glasnik Krapinsko-zagorske županije, No. 16 (text).
The flag is described as follows:
... contains the coat of arms of the municipality on an entirely light blue background. The coat of arms is set in the centre of the flag, sized 50 cm x 60 cm, perpendicular to the flag axis. The dimensions of the flag are 300 cm x 150 cm.
A relativly small coat of arms, as prescribed, was used in the initial set of flags produced in the mid-1990s; ever since it seems that only a horizontal flag with a larger coat of arms has been used.

The coat of arms is described as follows:
The coat of arms of the municipality is the historical coat of arms of the Municipality of Stubičke Toplice. The coat of arms is in a shield shape, horizontally divided in two parts. The upper part contains, in green, a silver chapel topped with blue. The chapel is dedicated to St. Catherine, of a hexagonal base, built in Neo-Renaissance style. The lower part of the shiled contains, in green, a stylized depiction of a source coloured silver. The base of the shield is blue.
The design of the coat of arms was probably inspired by the emblem of the Stubičke Toplice Special Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation (website). Te two emblems shows a similar building, either the St. Catherine Church (photo) or a similarly
structured pavillon of the Diana steam baths at the hospital (photo).
The municipality emblem has been in use since prior to 1990, probably since the mid-1970s, possibly made in connection with the bicentennial of the baths, date prominently displayed in the emblem, "1776"); that was probably more politically correct (note the prominent five-pointed stars on the pavilion, predating the Socialist period, and probably referring to Diana) for the period than a chapel.
