Presentation of Franqueville-Saint-Pierre

The municipality of Franqueville-Saint-Pierre (6,111 inhabitants in 2018; 856 ha) is located 10 km south-east of Rouen.
The two villages of Notre-Dame-de-Franqueville and Saint-Pierre-de-Franqueville were united from 1822 to 1851. Separated, they merged again in 1970, thus reconstituting the former feudal domain of Franqueville (which also included the hamlet de Franquevillette, part if the municipality of Boos). Accordongly, the town has two churches located about 200 m apart.

The flag of Franqueville-Saint-Pierre (photo) is white with the municipal logo, which was adopted in 2015. The former flag of Franqueville-Saint-Pierre (photo, photo, photo) was white with the municipal coat of arms, "Azure a chevron between two roowters respectant or a tower argent.
