Flag of Savoie

The department of Savoie has no proper flag but the traditional flag of Savoy, red with a white cross.

For the sake of identification and differentiation from the neighboring department of Haute-Savoie, for instance in sports events, a flag of Savoy is sometimes used by the departmental council with the writing "Savoie" added on the horizontal arms of the cross: photo (2022).
