I began with red and white, which seem to me the oldest, most basic heraldic ideas. Then I created a symbol in light blue to evoke the world, the UN, and the exchange of information in a forum -- the World Wide Web. The red band along the hoist can also represent our passion for vexillology, the circle our unity, white and blue for peace, and arrows representing the technology of the modem.
