As of 2019, the program involved 19,498 athletes and unified partners and 2,175 coaches, for the practice of 24 sports.

The Museu Olímpic i de l'Esport "Joan Antoni Samaranch" was
inaugurated in 2007 and in June 2010 it was named in honor of Joan
Antoni Samaranch, President of the International Olympic Committee between 1980 and 2001.
Several flags are featured outside the main entrance of the museum.
