Shield Argent with base wavy Azure, a lion passant guardant Gules, also called leopard.
Meaning:
Local seals displayed a fir, surrounded by laurel wreaths, after 1945 within a shield. The municipality decided to apply for different arms, as several other municipal arms already displayed firs. The base wavy (wave in German: Welle) was considered to be a canting element. The lion (leopard) is taken from the arms of the Lords of Wellendingen, local rulers in the 13th and 14th century as vassals of the Counts of Hohenberg. The colours red and white are those of the Hohenberg kin.
