Shield Vert a fess Argent, above charged with a sinister facing falcon rising Argent, beneath with a horseshoe of the same.
Meaning:
The falcon is taken from the canting arms of the Lords of Falkenstein, who played an important role in local history during the high and late Medieval as commissionaires of the Bishopric of Passau. Fess and horseshoe are symbolising the important road between Passau and Bohemia, where goods were transported by horses and mules, which caused many local farriers. The green colour is referring to the location in Bayerischer Wald, a forest.
