Azure parted by a saltire Argent chapé embowed, at dexter enhanced parted per chevron reversed of Gules and Argent and at sinister Or a branch Sable in pale with leaves of the same.
Meaning:
In 1970 Haarbach merged with Sachsenham and Uttlau. The field parted per chevron displays the former municipal arms of the old Haarbach municipality, approved in 1957. It is derived from the seal of the Lords of Harbach, who ruled the Haidenburg district until 1268 and lived in the village since the early 12th century until the 14th century. The tinctures white and red are those of the Counts of Ortenburg and Kraiburg from the Spanheim kin. The lords had been commissionaires of the counts. The field at sinister displays the former municipal arms of Sachsenham and is derived from the seal of the Wiels kin from Rainding, which is the seat of the parish of Sachsenham. The family had been in service of the Counts of Ortenburg between 1383 and 1528. The saltire is an attribute of St. Andrew, local patron saint of Uttlau.
