Shield Argent a pair of wings Gules, chief Azure a bend Or.
Meaning:
The bend or is taken from the personal arms of the Bishop of Passau Wenzel Count of Thun. He planned the peopling of Breitenberg in the 17th century, which had the name Wenzelsreut until the first half of the 19th century. The wings are taken from the arms of Bishop Raymund Count of Rabatta, who founded the local parish.
