Shield Azure parted by two bars wavy Argent, above a bowl Or held by two hands of the same, in base a triplemount issuant Or.
Meaning:
Bowl and hands are alluding to the character of a spa. Both had been used before by the local spa administration (Kurverwaltung). Bars wavy and triplemount are alluding to the location on the shores of the Tegernsee, a lake and on the slopes of the Alps. The tinctures blue and white are those of Bayern and of the Benedictine Tegernsee Abbey as well. The abbey had been the manorial lord in the past.
