Shield parted per pale; at dexter Argent an eradicated linden Vert; at sinister parted per fess, above Azure three grain ears Or ordered 1:2, beneath Argent, an embattled wall Gules masoned Sable issuant from base.
Meaning:
The linden is a differentiation of the family arms of the Lindenau kin, former local rulers. Furthermore lindens existed in all villages of the municipality and are considered to be a connecting element. The embattled wall is representing the existence of local castles and churches. The grain ears are referring to the fertile soil.
