Renaissance shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent two bars Azure, over all a bend sinister wavy Gules, at sinister Azure a crozier Or issuant from a chalice of the same.
Meaning:
The dexter half displays the arms of the Marshals of Kunstadt, first mentioned in 1203, who died out in 1728. Probably they had lived in the village since 1059. Chalice and crozier are taken from the arms of the Cistercian Langheim Abbey, which owned large estates from 1336 until 1803.
