Shield Or, a bend wavy Azure, charged with a raft Or in bend.
Meaning:
The nowadays municipality, located on the upper reaches of Große Enz River, was established in 1935 by a merger of the namesake predecessor and Enztal. The latter was separated from Wildbad in 1826, the former from Simmersfeld in 1838. The name was first mentioned in 1323 as "Klösterlein ze der Entz" (= little monastery upon Enz). When Protestantism prevailed in Württemberg an entailment was made. The monastery was transformed to a wood processing factory in 1599. Foresty and rafting had been the main business lines of the settlers until the 19th century, symbolised in the arms by the raft. The bend wavy is representing Enz River.
