It is a green-white-black vertical tricolour. The coat of arms is shifted to the top.

Shield Argent, an eradicated deciduous tree Vert, topped by a raven rising Sable and flanked in base by two escutcheons; the dexter one Or, a sinister facing eagle Sable, armed and tongued Gules with a crescent recumbent Argent under a crosslet of the same upon his breast; the sinister one Argent, an eagle Gules armed Or with cloverstems Or on his wings.
Meaning:
The tree is a somehow canting element, alluding to the (dark) forestal riches. The bird nowadays is interpreted as a raven and as such the mascot of the city. The escutcheons display the arms of Silesia (dexter) and Brandenburg (sinister).
