Shield quartered, 1st quarter Argent parted by a centred cross Gules, 2nd quarter Gules an embattled tower Or with port and windows Azure flanked on either side by a cross patty fitchy Argent under a 6-point star of the same, 3rd quarter Gules a Paschal Lamb passant Argent; 4th quarter barry of 10 of Argent and Azure.
Meaning:
The charges refer to former rulers and the former counties. The 1st quarter displays the arms of the Archbishopric of Trier, the 4th quarter displays the arms of the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg without lion. The 2nd quarter displays the dexter half of the arms of the former Bitburg County, which is a differentiation of the city arms of Bitburg. The Paschal Lamb is taken from the arms of the former Prüm County and from those of the namesake abbey.

Flag and banner were approved on 4 October 1983. The arms were approved on 27 August 1973.
