Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Land Council (DLALC) is located on the Central
Coast of New South Wales its boundaries stretch from Catherine Hill Bay to the
North, Hawkesbury River to the South, Pacific Ocean to the East and Watagan
Mountains to the West. The Darkinjung LALC shares its boundaries with Bahtabah
LALC, Koompahtoo LALC and Metropolitan LALC which were established and based on
the traditional boundaries of the region.
The Darkinjung LALC is
positioned within two Local Government Areas (LGAs) these being Wyong Shire
Council and Gosford City Council, with an estimated shared population of over
304,741 and an estimated shared Aboriginal population of over 6,828. (Two Ways
