Shield Vert, issuant from base a quintuple mount Or, charged with a barrulet Azure, in chief a Paschal Lamb couchant. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "PELARIGA - POMBAL" (see left flag imageabove) or "FREGUESIA DE PELARIGA - POMBAL" (see right flag imageabove)
Meaning:
The Paschal Lamb usually is an attribute of St. John the Baptist.

Pelariga Commune is one of the 13 communes of Pombal Municipality; it had 2012 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 24,65 km².
