Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, on a bend sinister wavy Argent a bendlet sinister wavy Azure, in dexter chief a Maltese cross and in base sinister a pine twig Or fructed Argent. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "OLEIROS - AMIEIRA".
Meaning:
The cross and waves are taken from the arms of Oleiros and the pine twig from those of Amieira.

Oleiros e Amieira is one of the two communes of Oleiros Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes; it had 2080 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 143,64 km².

It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain yellow field.
The colour of the Maltese cross in the arms is white according to this webpage (see right image above) and green according Sérgio Horta (see left image above).
