Shield Or with base wavy of Argent and Azure, issuant from base a triple mount Sable, in central chief a cross patty Gules charged with a Greek cross Argent (cross of the Christ Knights Order),
flanked by a branch of pine at dexter and a branch of eucalyptus at sinister, both Vert and fructed Sable.
Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "FREGUESIA DE FERREIRA DO ZÊZERE.

When these arms were created in 1995/2010, Ferreira do Zêzere was already a town, and had been for centuries. It was given
back then a mural crown with three visible towers due to a specific read of the 1991 about local flags in Portugal [pt-_law.html#dl_53-91].
For a reason I don´t know (and probably specified nowhere), in 2023 a different reading of the same law opted for four visible towers instead.

Ferreira do Zêzere Commune is one of the seven communes of Ferreira do Zêzere Municipality; it had 2353 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 37.9 km².
