Shield Azure an orb Argent garnished Gules within an arch Or, flanked by two olive branches Argent fruited Or, issuant from flanches and from base wavy Argent, charged with a barrulet wavy Azure, a hump bridge Argent masoned Sable. Mural crown with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "RIBAS"
Meaning:
The orb is an attribute of Jesus Christ, being the local patron saint as Our Divine Saviour.

Ribas is one of the ten communes of Celorico de Basto Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes ; it had 900 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 8,28 km².
