Shield Argent, issuant from base a craggy mountain Vert, crowned by a castle Sable with port and windows Argent and masoned Argent, in chief a verraco, a boar's sculpture, Azure (more details see here). Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "CASTELO MENDO".

The arms are Argent, a minaret Purpure with port and windows Or flanked by two arrows Sable, inbase wavy Argent a barrulet wavy Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "MESQUITELA - ALMEIDA".
Meaning:
"mesquitela" is a(n unusal) diminutive of "mesquita", "mosque", which makes these arms partly canting.
