On 1 January 2020, the old Asker Municipality was merged with Røyken Municipality and Hurum Municipality into the new Asker Municipality and received new symbols. The flags of the new Asker Municipality can be seen on Streetview by looking at the time-lapse footage. The blue flag is from 2023, and the white flag is from 2022.
