Cárdenas is believed to not have a coat of arms.
Tacotalpa has a logo, functioning as the coat of arms (it has use under multiple administrations). Cunduacán appears to have forgotten its coat of arms.
Paraíso had a logo used for multiple years but it has fallen out of use; no coat of arms.
* - Centro (where the state capital Villahermosa is located) is where the state coat of arms is derived from; as such, its municipal flag is technically the state flag.
Interestingly, Tabasco might be the least patriotic in the Federation (in local terms). Few of the 17 municipalities have their own coat of arms. Likely it is because there was no push
as many municipalities experienced especially in the 1980's; this push mostly ended around the 2000's. However, even states which did not have a government to ask all municipalities
to adopt their own coat of arms have a higher percentage of municipalitites having a coat of arms.
Of the limited local heraldry in the region, some common themes are: Cattle-raising, Maya symbols, agriculture, and water.
