Located in Hamamatsu City Shizuoka Prefecture and established in 1974. The Embroidered ceremonial flag has blue background with a gold and silver emblem in the center and gold fringe.
In May 1975, the school emblem was designed based on the work of a current student, Yoko Imamura, and was approved as the school emblem at a faculty meeting. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the university's opening, the name was changed to the "university emblem" and adopted in July 2014.
It expresses Mt. Fuji and the medical school with kanji 医大 inside. The curved part represents the Sea of Enshu and its waves, and the protruding part represents Lake Hamana. (Source)

There are also two other flags used by the university; both flags are white and one uses the formal school emblem and one uses a PR logo mark. (Source).
