The town emblem was adopted on Mar 28th 2005 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green , a blue and a light blue theree color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana そ So of Sotogahama. It represents a green rich peninsula, blue sea and a strong wind from the former one town and two villages by the center three lines and a new town development and a surge.

Minmaya Village / 三厩村

The flag of the former village of Minmaya was purple with mark. The village is now, from 2005, part of the town of Sotogahama.

The design features the katakana character for “Min,”ミン with the crest of the wave symbolizing the Tsugaru Peninsula, representing the Murano Factory and its growth. The village name is written in white kanji characters at the bottom.
