Csabacsűd is a large village in Szarvas district of Békés County, in the Southern Great Plain region of south-east Hungary.
The name of the village was first mentioned in written records in 1444. A charter from 1456 mentions the village as the estate of János Hunyadi,
which was completely destroyed in 1596. After the resettlement, Csabacsűd became part of the Szentandrás estate.
The dynamic development of the settlement was stopped by the Second World War in 1944.
After the Second World War, the village was resettled. Today, Csabacsűd is one of the most well-kept settlements in Békés County.

The flag of the settlement is dark green with its coat of arms is placed in the center of the flag. Ratio is 1:2.
The flag of municipality was adopted by Local Government Decree No. 8/1994. (VII.27.) issued on 27 July 1994.
Note: based on the decree, the name of the settlement is written above the shield, but it is omitted on real flags, it can be seen on vertical variant only.

It is the same flag, but coat of arms turned 90 degrees upwards. The name of the settlement is placed over the shield in arc with yellow letters.

The coat of arms is a green shield with a golden bustard holding an ear of wheat. The frame of the shield and the leaves decorating the outer side of the shield are golden.
The coat of arms was adopted by the same Local Government Decree.
